Puzzle Hunts: BANG 33 Photos

On June 2, 2012, Bob Schaffer and a band of brave volunteers ran the excellent puzzlehunt BANG 33. This BANG was unusually long; it was about 12 hours, getting up into Shinteki-ish length. (It was also Shinteki-ish priced, which could have made folks hesitate, but the money went to Elevate Tutoring, an excellent charity that tricked youths into learning people-skills and academic subjects by encouraging them to tutor other youths.)

Dozens of teams played that day, but the one I have photos of is Mystic Fish, because that's the one I played on. On this occasion, Mystic Fish consisted of:

The hunt started in San Jose's Municipal Rose Garden and ended at a nearby restaurant where teams sat and solved the meta (and then perhaps loitered to watch teams who were still solving the meta).
