Texas 2009: Commerce Street, Dallas: Former Repository

Former Repository

The sixth floor of that book depository was turned into a museum. No photography is allowed within the museum. It's a biography of JFK, centering on the time around the assassination. It's pretty complete--but then again, a book would be pretty complete, too. The book repository is a warehouse space. Once, there were boxes of books there. Now it's mostly museum displays. There's a pile of book boxes in a corner, a pile high enough to conceal an assassin from view as he ate a sandwich and waited for a clear shot. It's a fairly ordinary pile of boxes. You can forgive the other book depository employees for not giving the pile a second look.
