It's by Annie Proulx, so the writing's pretty good. It's about how she had a house build out in some windswept spot in Wyoming. Or at least, that's what it was about when I stopped reading it. The writing was good, but when you step back from a book, you realize "So I'm reading about the hassle of waiting for contractors?" And then, if you're like me, you find yourself not picking that book back up again. There's also some cool stuff about archaeology and wildlife of the region, just not enough to keep me going.
