It's a book about the era of botnets. It doesn't go into the technical stuff, but comes at the story from the point of view of law-enforcement folks investigating things the old-fashioned way: talking with folks, convincing them to rat each other out—the people stuff. Talks about DDoS shakedowns; bad guys selling services on places like CarderPlanet; the mob in certain Eastern European countries; the governments in certain Eastern European countries... A fun side effect of kids being precocious computer whizzes: maybe that teenager who's sending a botnet after you is also the son of a government official in some country where kids of government officials are above the law.
