It's a young adult adventure novel that starts out with a puzzly quiz. Kids who do well in the quiz team up to battle an evil conspiracy. This book is science fantasy, and the fantasy lost me. It's too bad; the characters were pretty cool and they interacted with each other well. And... I was reading this book because I was hoping for a puzzlehunt story. There's nothing wrong with a Thrilling Adventure Tale, but it wasn't what I was looking for.
