So I guess it's a good occasion for a book report about Homicide. No, I didn't kill anybody. But it's a Baltimore book. A reporter embeds with Baltimore police homicide detectives for a year. This book was amazing. Brutal in so many places, but there are spots of beauty. This book was also a bestseller. It led to the Homicide TV show, The Corner, The Wire... So I'm late to the party. I'm still glad I read it.
