You might wonder: How could Larry get the high score in an anagramming game? And the answer is: I didn't announce the game on this blog; too many of you folks are too good at anagramming. But now that I can say that I had the high score, if only for a few hours, I will let you know: @anagramr is a fun anagramming game you can play on Twitter. Every so often, it tweets a word to anagram. You reply to that tweet with anagrams. It tweets back telling you that your score went up (r that it didn't recognize one of your words, if you got too clever).
Some pro tips to help you overtake my score quickly:
- You can reply to old tweets. If the most recent word is CHAMMY and you're thinking "Uhm, MY CHAM? I got nuthin'" then scroll back a ways. Find an easier word.
- You can reply to a word more than once. If the word is ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHS, you can reply docile cartographers. And then a few seconds later, you can reply with reciprocal goatherds.
Huh, what? Oh, sorry, I zoned out for a second there. Fun anagramming game. Check it out.
