Book Report: The Vanishing Violin

It's another YA puzzle-mystery featuring the Red Blazer Girls. (You might vaguely remember that I read the first book in the series a while back. This time, the puzzlehunt story is a bit more believable; folks who know our now-locally-faous protagonists set it up. Once again, something strange happens: a crime intrudes. It seems to be a rule of the genre. These are puzzle mysteries. If they don't contain mystery-ish elements, nobody will know where to shelve them or market them or whatever. I guess? Still, it seems a little strange that our protagonists are surrounded by so much crime. But maybe I wouldn't think that was strange if only I read more mystery stories.
