Starting to send out emails to Octothorpean teams letting them know about new puzzles, puzzles they've missed, etc. In small batches at first: partly so that the earliest recipients can let me know if I messed something up, I can fix it for later folks. Partly so I can find out what works well and what doesn't, mail-wise. Sent out 10 mails Thursday night, two of those teams started playing soon after. Forgot to send out 10 mails Friday morning—too bad, since I vaguely remember learning that Friday and Monday mornings are good times to send out mail if you're hoping for responses.
