This graphic novel (uhm, I mean, graphic documentary, I guess? this comic) tells the story of the mechanical Turk, the chess-playing automaton historied in Standage's The Turk. Since much of the story takes place back in the days when proper engineers wore silly-looking wigs, this is great material for comics. It's by Jane Irwin, whose Vogelein comic you might remember from a few years back: its art was purty. This book's rather purty, too.
