Wesley's photo shows Team Mystic Fish's van where we took the seat out. Did I say "we"? Actually, I was getting coffee.
Game day arrived, and I was the first to arrive outside of Alexandra's place. I had arrived early so that I could go to Peet's for a coffee fix. Alexandra said to hold on--she wanted to walk Libby the dog to Peet's before the game. (It turned out that Libby didn't want to go to Peet's. Libby just wanted a walk. Alexandra wanted to go to Peet's.)
We left at about the time the rest of Team Mystic Fish showed up. When we got back, the rest of the team had finished setting up the van. They looked like they had been working hard. Thus did coffee help me to keep my energy level high in two ways: caffeination and dodging work.
(Lesson Learned: Get coffee ahead of time.)
We had taken a row of seats out of the van so that we had a working area by the van's side door. Many-pocketed aprons hung up on the backs of the front two seats, their pockets heavy with pencils, notebooks, and walkie-talkies. There was a power strip plugged into the cigarette lighter, powering a color copier/printer, walkie-talkie recharger, and GPS unit.
