England Plus Paris: Part 15: water lilies

At first I thought that super-compulsive royal gardeners angled the pads of this water lily to draw attention to the flowers. But 'Lene pointed out that, under the water, the stems lead back to the base of the flower-stems. So nature composed this scene.
