Suburbs. Approaching Wellington by ferry, the ferry paralleled the shore for quite a while. I kept wondering why the ferry didn't turn towards shore. Look at all those houses, surely that must be Wellington. But it was the miles and miles of suburbs that sprawl around Wellington.
