Recently, workers have drained some of the local salt ponds. Gerry Kane heard that someone is building a marina here. As you can see in this poorly-stitched together panorama, most of the salt water has been drained. The workers have laid down these big sheets of black stuff that come in rolls. Then they pile rock on top of the sheets.
