Photos: Redwood City Oct 2004

Just a few months after my previous batch of Redwood City Photos, I correctly suspected I was going to quit my job soon. So I took some more photos.

[Photo: Piles of Harvested Salt] I've read that in the East Bay, they have a couple of huge salt pyramids. There, the salt waits to be washed before it is distributed and used. Apparently, if you put enough salt together, you can wash it without washing it away. Anyhow, these were some small salt pyramids.
[Photo: Salt Berm] This was a sort of raised roadway made of salt. It was taller than I was.
[Photo: Salt Berm] I should have brought my sled. Wait, I don't have a sled.
[Photo: It Is More Salt] Salt, salt, salt, salt. Salt!
[Photo: Dirty Salt] This salt berm has been around for a few weeks now. It is starting to get dirty. Somene should wash this salt.
[Photo: Tracks] Someone's been driving on the salt. I sure hope that vehicle was treated for rust.
[Photo: Not Salt, But Dirt] Remember the big pile of red dirt at the local toxic waste site? They brought in yet more red dirt. Please pardon the poor quality of this stitched-together panorama.
[Photo: Covered Conveyor Belt] Oh man, that's a nice covered conveyor belt. Please pardon the poor quality of this stitched-together panorama.
[Photo: Commo Tower] Is that a cellular tower? Let's say it is.
