Frivolity: Japanese Ska and Punk

Maybe you're in the Japanese Import section of your local music store. Maybe you're at a record store in Japan. Maybe you're thinking of ordering some music from Japan by mail. But how do you know which of this music you want? Not all J-ska is good. Not all J-ska is bad. If you like old school ska better than ska-punk, how do you find what you want?
