From the "Who asked You?" Department, it's my opinion of
Arts.
(their official page)
- What I've heard:
- "/katte ni shagare/" (song, Ska De Hippari ~ a New Generation of Ska ~ collection)
- "Afro Freak" (song, Ska Junction Vol. 1 collection)
- Gross Generalization:
- Pop with a light sprinkling of Ska
- Rambling:
- I've only heard two songs by this band.
The first was forgettable pop. It had a ska beat, but you get the
impression that these guys really wanted to perform the
mellow hits of the 70s. The second song wasn't ska--it was more
like Afro-Cuban rhythms (?like I know from Afro-Cuban rhythms...).
It was really good--well-executed, fast-paced, and fun.
