Japanese Music: Emmie the Stripper

From the "Who asked You?" Department, it's my opinion of Emmie the Stripper.

What I've heard:

Gross Generalization:

?Punk Big-band Do-ron-ron?

Rambling:

I've only heard one song by this band. I'm not sure I'd call it ska. It was like big-band jazz as performed by talented punk musicians. Maybe they sufficiently defied categorization, and that's why someone decided to put this song on a ska compilation. I'm glad they did, I like this song. It's sort of like Citizen Bill without the swing and with more rock.
