Japanese Music: Flat Bowl

From the "Who asked You?" Department, it's my opinion of Flat Bowl.

What I've heard:

"Flat Bowl" (song, Youth Against Humbugs collection)

Gross Generalization:

Ska Punk

Rambling:

I think there was something going wrong with the guitar distortion on the one song of theirs that I heard. This song started out as ska played fast, and kind of devolved into punk. I think I'd like this band, but it's hard to tell because this one guitar was distorted in such a way as to put my teeth on edge.

I mean, I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with the idea of distorted guitars in general. I just think that something went wrong with that guitar on that song.

At least I hope that wasn't the effect they were looking for.
