: New: SF Puzzle Nerds: Real Escape talk: I'm thinking puzzlehuntists' Dinner beforehand

You perhaps already knew: Tuesday evening (October 29), the excellent Real Escape folks will give a talk. Some of you have already signed up. More Can. The talk theoretically starts at 7.

I propose a puzzlehuntists' before-party. Specifically:

At 6pm, puzzlehuntists flock to
DNA Pizza (11th at Harrison, SoMa),
eat, drink, and converse.
At 6:50, we amble to the lecture hall.
The nature of DNA Pizza is such that if we drift in over time, we can order food individually and still end up sitting together. Plus it's associated with DNA Lounge, a genuine Genome Game clue site. Also, they show music videos, so even if I end up sitting there all alone eating pizza, I won't be bored. (oh good grief, please come. Don't make me sit around watching music videos for an hour) We can pre-plan questions to ask the Escapists after their lecture. We can try to trick each other into running future hunts. We can talk about which Come Out and Play games look interesting. It will be amazing conversation, the sort of sparkling repartee future generations will look back on with awe, especially if they're still interested in anagrams.
