: New: San Francisco California Election Notes

I filled in my ballot. I'll point out a few propositions where researching the details changed my mind.

California Props [26 | 27]: allow sports betting administered by [native Californian tribes | sports betting companies], state gets 10% of the profits. I thought I'd vote for both of these; other USA states have sports betting and they haven't been reduced to rubble by depraved gamblers. But Pete Rates the Propositions pointed out that in those other states, the state gets much more than 10%. Based on this, I ended up voting against both. If one of those organizations comes back with a proposal offering at least 13%, I'd vote for it.

SF Props [D | E]: stop thwarting new housing a [lot | little]. I thought I'd vote against both of these; D seemed too YIMBY and E seemed too NIMBY. But then I researched the part of Prop D that scared me and saw it was pretty close to current law, and the current law hasn't caused SF to be reduced to rubble by depraved real estate developers. Based on this, I ended up voting yes on D, no on E.
