When I was searching Bartlett's Familiar Quotations yesterday, I decided to write some new quotations. But that was difficult, so I took inspiration from large language models and tried just smushing together pairs of already-existing quotations. In a failed attempt to keep my new quotations coherent, I made sure that each pair had a word in common, and smooshed them together at that spot. E.g., I might combine "Blow, blow, thou winter wind" and "Tide and wind stay no man's pleasure" to make "Blow, blow, thou WIND stay no man's pleasure."
