Some would have you believe that DASH #2 was a demonstration of the emergence of a transnational movement of casual puzzlehunters, a great distributed convergence of geekdom.
Some would have you believe that DASH #2 was a chance for some Mystic Fish to get together: Alexandra, Robert, Dwight, and I.
But of course the really dramatic thing that happened was that I lost my usual Mystic Fish hat, and had to ad-lib one from parts at hand. And the parts at hand were an obnoxious checker-pattern hat.
And then when we stopped off in the Sonoma Junior College library to use the restr^W^W^W^W for important research, there was a video display about the history of hats! Thus proving the importance of... Uhm, yeah.
