Downtown Dallas has plenty of government buildings. I stayed around here, walking amongst dour people in suits. Some of these folks were probably lawyers. At least, I guess this one guy was. He took several minutes to negotiate the perfect deal at a Subway sandwich shop. He took the act of ordering a sandwich and made it very complicated. He was splitting a sandwich with someone else, so they wanted an extra-big sandwich, but sliced in two. But with different toppings on the two parts of the sandwich. And they wanted to take advantage of a special deal that only applied to people ordering large sandwiches. It was marvelous. I marveled.
