Kibo onscreen at the ISS Mission Control room with dawn in the background. Kibo was much on my mind. It isn't just the name of a newly-installed module of the International Space Station. It's also the username of usenet celebrity James "Kibo" Parry. A while back, he wrote up some observations of the place of traffic cones in modern society. And today I'd seen a specially marked space safety cone area:
