Controls are tricky. In the visitor center, there are a bunch of shuttle flight simulators, ISS docking simulators, etc etc. (This photo isn't one of them. It's a signals control panel from a shuttle cockpit. Ooh, codes) Lots of joysticks for the kids to play with. Except sometimes the joysticks were mislabeled. Something labeled as a forward thrust control really was some kind of yaw/pitch thing. Control systems are hard, apparently.
