This book makes the case that you can behave nicely and still get ahead in business. Is this surprising? Does this need saying? Maybe; the author says that many folks don't think they can give others the benefit of the doubt in a business context; if they were playing The Prisoner's Dilemma, they'd use a variant Tit-for-Tat strategy that started out defecting. Anyhow, this book is meant to convince such folks that they can give others the benefit of the doubt and still do OK.
Anyhow, if you're nice and think that you need to be mean to get ahead in business, then this book is for you. If not, well… It's a quick read.
