: New: kloak looks interesting

Kloak is a social network in which your friends can see what you're up to, even though the folks running the service can't. To "friend" someone, you meet them in person and each use the app to scan the other's phone. Under the covers, I guess your phones are setting up some crypto. When you post an update, it's encrypted before it goes to the server. Since you've exchanged crypto info with your friends, their phones can decode your updates.

This seems like the social network that the more privacy-minded folks I've talked to have been waiting for.

I'm on kloak. If I know you and you're on kloak, let's scan phones or whatever the verb is.
