Book Report: San Francisco's Telegraph Hill

It's a book about San Francisco's Telegraph Hill neighborhood. I was interested because I wanted a puzzle hunt there. This book talked about local history. Back in the day, before folks had Facebook and refrigerators, your daily trip to the local grocery store was a chance to be social. The book has more information about now-gone corner grocery stores than you might expect. I didn't use much material from this book, but it did talk about Telegraph Hill's marine telegraph, so that was interesting.

I didn't think to write a Book Report blog post about the book after I read it because, y'know, puzzle hunt SECRETS. Now I've blissfully forgotten most of it. Except for a general impression of "I wasn't expecting quite so much about grocery stores."
