New York Times: At the Met: 1

"At the Met --

There's a special exhibit of 'Dunand--Master of Art Deco.' They show a magazine article showing how his lacquerwork - He became famous for his laquerwork - learned from Seizo Sugawara. Chinese workers pictured in article. Who gets the credit--the Whitey. Naturalment."

I was with my parents at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, the 20th Century collection. (Update--fixing a broken link on this page, I looked at the Met's web pages. Now, after the end of the 20th Century, they seem to have renamed that collection from "20th Century" to "Modern Art".) I took 12 pages of notes. Fortunately, they were small pages.
